CY Institute for Advanced Studies

The Institute for Advanced Studies (CY AS) was created in 2007 at the University of Cergy-Pontoise (now CY Cergy Paris Université) to stimulate scientific collaborations between its researchers and the international scientific community in all major domains. The CY AS runs: 1) a fellows-in-residence programme open to junior and senior international researchers from all disciplines, 2) a programme of scientific events including workshops, international conferences, thematic semesters and guest lectures delivered by CY AS fellows, and 3) a programme of visiting professors hosted up to two months either at a laboratory of CY Cergy Paris Université or at CY AS. Each year, the Institute invites ca. ninety international scholars and hosts fifty scientific activities.
